Quintino’s is a roaster and not a trader of commodity green coffee beans (unroasted). Trading large numbers of containers of commercial grade coffees is not part of what we do.
HOWEVER; we can help with the supply of limited quantities to smaller roasters the same speciality green beans that we roast ourselves.
As a premium coffee roaster in Java, Quintino's has its own direct supply chain, from growers, co-ops and local trading companies. After approaches from other smaller overseas roasters looking to buy with a sense of certainty, high quality Indonesian beans, we have chosen to lend a hand to other roasters with this offer.
There are two condition, the green beans they are looking for must be part of our existing range of speciality coffees, exactly the same grade and quality that we roast ourselves. If you like a particular Single Origin coffee that we roast, then depending on supply limitations, we can assist in sourcing the same green beans. We will not consider sourcing beans other than what we use in our current product range.
By increasing the amounts of high quality speciality Arabica demand increases, in small way, this encourages growers to produce more of the higher grade coffee and higher priced speciality coffees, which in the long term we hope will increase supply. Our thinking is not only does this promote Indonesian coffee, everyone in the supply chain benefits, including the coffee drinker who in the end holding the cup.
